PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium composite oxide having perovskite crystal structure and exhibiting excellent electric conductivity and thermoelectric conversion properties, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The titanium composite oxide is principally composed of a titanium composite oxide represented by ATi<SB POS="POST">1-x</SB>Mo<SB POS="POST">x</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>(where, A: Ba, Sr; 0.02<x<1), and has the perovskite crystal structure belonging to the cubic system.
