Improved manufacture of bricks

Bricks &c. are moulded from a mixture of lime and either spent oil-shale residue or clay burned at 600-900 DEG C. and are hardened either by steam treatment or by storage in water. According to the Provisional Specification other pozzuolanic materials may replace the shale or clay.
