The present invention relates to a system and a method for remediation of soil contaminated by heavy metals. More particularly, the present invention relates to a system for remediation of contaminated soil, comprising: a measurement part for measuring the arsenic concentration of contaminated soil by measuring contamination level on the basis of measure standards; a pretreatment part for mixing, with water, the contaminated soil with arsenic concentration in a specific range for pulverization; a foreign material remover installed to remove the foreign materials of the contaminated soil introduced from the pretreatment part, separate soil with a particles size of a predetermined size or greater among the contaminated soil as purified soil and sort the contaminated soil with a particle size smaller than the predetermined size; one or more multi-stage particle sorters installed to introduce the contaminated soil with a particle size smaller than the predetermined size sorted by the foreign material remover and subclassify the contaminated soil by particle size; a purification device installed to wash the contaminated soil using washing process water if the contaminated soil classified into less than a first specific particle size by the multi-stage particle sorters is introduced; a filtering device composed of a vacuum belt filter to separate and discharge the purified soil purified in the purification device and introduced and the washing process water contained in the purified soil; and a neutralizing tank for introducing the washing process water discharged from the purification device and the filtering device and neutralizing the washing process water.
