ELECTRON ACCELERATOR HAVING PLURAL-ENERGY, CARGO INSPECTION DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD USING THE SAME

Disclosed are an electron accelerator using multiple energy, a cargo inspection device using the same, and a control method thereof. The electron accelerator, which is used for a cargo inspection device for performing inspection by dual energy, using an electron beam, comprises a power unit; a synchronization signal generator which generates a clock; an RF generating unit which generates an RF signal by the clock and controls the power unit; an electron generating unit which generates electrons according to information input by the power unit; and a chamber for providing a passage for the electrons to move through. The RF generating unit is configured for each electron beam generated by the first level of the RF signal in the same clock and the second level of the RF signal lower than the first level to oscillate. Therefore, inspection accuracy can be maintained by one time energy irradiation. Also, inspection time can be reduced. Search and inspection efficiency can be improved. Accordingly, benefits can be maximized by using dual energy. Also, an accurate and quick inspection can be possible by using a control method without an additional device. The amount of searches and inspections and the quality of inspection can be greatly improved without the burden of a cost increase for production.
