An omnidirectional moving robot for an infant and a child according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an operating part inputting a command in order for a user to operate the robot; and a driving part driving the robot by receiving the command inputted in the operating part. The operating part includes an input part where the user inputs an operation command of the driving part; and a first communication part connected to the input part, and transmitting a command signal inputted in the input part. The driving part includes a second communication part receiving the command signal outputted from the first communication part; a control part connected to the second communication part, and controlling the driving part by receiving the command signal which is received by the second communication part; a body part connected to the control part, and including a moving part performing movements following a control signal transmitted by the control part; and a function part installed on a front surface of the body part by which the user selects one of various functional modules having a function which is suitable for the age of children.
