The present invention relates to a recliner of a seat for a vehicle, which includes means for pressing a plurality of lock gears toward guide blocks of one side in a lump to prevent clearances among components, thereby reducing vibration and noise due to operation and realizing a rapid and accurate locking state between a gear rim and the lock gears. To achieve this, the recliner according to the present invention includes: a gear rim (100) having an internal gear (110); a guide plate (200) which is joined with the gear rim and has a plurality of guide blocks (210) formed on one side toward the gear rim; a plurality of lock gears (300) each of which has an external gear (320) joined with the internal gear and which carry out a reciprocating motion in a radial direction in a state where the side of each lock gear is guided from the guide block; a cam (400) which is accommodated in a space between the gear rim and the guide plate to be able to rotate and is connected with one end of the inside of each lock gear; a pressure spring (500) for providing the cam with a rotary force, such that the external gear is joined with the internal gear; and a pressure plate (700) which is elastically supported by the pressure spring (500) to press the lock gears toward the guide blocks of one side in a lump so as to block a gap between the lock gears (300) and the guide blocks (210).
