PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument storage case devised such that taking out a writing instrument from a storage case is facilitated and writing instrument is prevented from being moved in the case to and fro during its conveyance or the like. SOLUTION: The case includes an outer case 1 having an opening 2 formed in the top, and an inner box 21 slidably stored in the outer box from the opening of this outer box, and stores writing instrument in a space 22 in the inner box. A lid panel 29 is connected to a rear panel 24 forming the inner box 21. While the inner box is stored in the outer box, an engagement portion 36 formed in the lid connected to the inner box is engaged with an engaged portion 15 formed on the front panel 5 of the outer box.
