The present invention relates to an apparatus for sterilizing a floor mat. More specifically, the apparatus in a direct spraying type prevents pathogens of livestock disease from being spread by shoes of people passing by various farms and relevant facilities. According to the present invention, the apparatus applies a direct spraying method using a proximity sensor. Therefore, reduction of a sterilizing effect caused by deterioration of a sterilizing solution is prevented. The apparatus includes a heat generating part and thus can prevent the sterilizing solution from being frozen even in winter. Therefore, the apparatus can maintain the sterilizing effect to be constant regardless of the temperate of the outside.
