A draught break section 20 for a flue 22 includes an inlet, an outlet and a draught-breaking aperture 34. A slider 32 is slidable to cover at least a portion of the draught-breaking aperture. The draught break section can be installed in a flue flow path. The draught-breaking aperture is configured to permit air intake into the flue. The slider can be moved over the draught-breaking aperture to decrease or increase the effective area of the aperture. This allows the pressure conditions for a particular boiler configuration to be improved and avoids excessively strong draught conditions. The draught-breaking aperture may be a meshed section. A collar 30 and an internal baffle may also be included. |
