<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt plant in which wood tar as a byproduct generated by pyrolysis of woody biomass such as waste wood and thinned wood is used effectively. <P>SOLUTION: In the asphalt plant, a wood tar production apparatus 1 includes: a gasification furnace 5 to pyrolyze the biomass to generate pyrolysis gas and a carbonized product; a heat exchanger 6 to cool the generated high-temperature pyrolysis gas to a condensing temperature of the wood tar in the pyrolysis gas; and a secondary combustion chamber 9 to burn an uncondensed residual gas portion in the pyrolysis gas derived from the heat exchanger 6. The wood tar production apparatus 1 is annexed in the vicinity of the asphalt plant 11 to produce an asphalt mixture, a sand dryer 12 to heat and dry sand to be a material for the asphalt mixture is provided on the downstream side of exhaust gas from the secondary combustion chamber 9 of the wood tar production apparatus 1, and the wood tar produced in the wood tar production apparatus 1 is supplied as a fuel for a burner of the dryer for heat drying of aggregate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
