PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-operative mechanism, so as not to be a hindrance to steppings, enabling the position switchover of the step for getting on/off a combine harvester to be manually operated. SOLUTION: A boarding steering section 8 includes: a steering part with a steering-operative tool; and a steering seat 22 laid above an engine cover 24A. A step 51 for getting on/off the boarding steering section 8 is installed so as to be switchable in position between an action position unfolded sideways of the vehicle body and a housing position retreated toward the vehicle body. The step 51 is linked to the bottom end of a stepping-operative rod 60 vertically extended along the front wall 24B of the engine cover 24A, while an operative handle 63 is set on the top end of the stepping-operative rod 60.
