PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which liquid tightness can be secured in cleaning the endoscope without using a string or an adhesive. SOLUTION: In the endoscope, a soft portion and a bending portion are coupled to each other by a fitting structure formed of a recessed portion 90 provided in a coupling ring 88 of the soft portion and a protruded portion 92 provided in a coupling ring 66 of the bending portion 42. The protruded portion 92 is formed to be circular, and the outer diameter of the protruded portion 92 is set to be smaller than that of the body of the coupling ring 66 and larger than the inner diameter of the coupling ring 88. A circular groove portion having an outer diameter smaller than that of the protruded portion 92 is provided between the protruded portion 92 and the body portion. On the contrary, the recessed portion 90 is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the coupling ring 88, and the outer diameter of the recessed portion 90 is set to be slightly smaller than that of the protruded portion 92. A sealing member 96 interposes in a fitting portion 94 formed of the recessed portion 90 and the protruded portion 92, and liquid tightness and air tightness is secured by the sealing member 96.
