According to the present invention, a device (10) for coagulation and especially for fusion includes a power source (18). The power source (18) is connected to electrodes (12, 13) and thus can affect biological tissue (11) with electric currents. A control part (22) controls the power source (18) during step I and step II of tissue fusion. Step I and step II correspond to operation step I, operation step II, and operation step III of the device (10). During the operation step I, a monitoring part (23) determines energy (E1), and the energy (E1) is applied to the tissue (11). During the operation step II and operation step III in series, a control part (22) controls the power source (18) based on the determined energy (E1). Especially, the device is proven to be reliable and durable when used. |
