PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which is useful as a sidelight type backlight device using light-emitting diodes (LED) as light sources.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display 6 has a frame 7, in which 7, a liquid crystal cell 16, a condensing film, a prism film 16, a diffusion plate 17, a light guide plate 18, and a reflecting plate 20 are arranged in that order. A light-emitting module 22 equipped with LEDs 28 is arranged along one side of the light guide plate 18. In a part where the LEDs 28 are arranged intensively on a rear side of the frame 7, a graphite composite film 30 is applied. Heat conducted to the rear side of the frame 7 is widely diffused by the graphite film 30 and efficiently cools down an area where the heat from the LED module 22 is cooled in a concentrated manner. |
