<p>A process for producing a heat-resistant aluminum hydroxide, comprising the step of applying a heating treatment to a gibbsite-type aluminum hydroxide at a pressure equal to or higher than an atmospheric pressure and equal to or lower than 0.3 MPa, in an atmosphere whose water vapor molar fraction is equal to or higher than 0.03 and equal to or lower than 1, and at a temperature equal to or higher than 180° C. and equal to or lower than 300° C.</p> |
