<p>A capping strip, for covering an electrical cable to be embedded in plaster, comprises a cable receiving portion 12 and a securing portion 14 such as flanges for enabling the strip to be secured to a fixing surface, such as an un-plastered wall etc. The securing portion comprises one or more indentations 16 for locating and receiving a fixing means, such as a capping nail or screw, to thereby facilitate fixing of the strip to the fixing surface. The indentations prevent a nail or drill bit from slipping across the surface, but are easier to make than apertures.</p> |
