Transducer-including devices, and methods and apparatus for their calibration

Embodiments of packaged transducer-including devices (100, 200, 372, 490, 650, 1300) and methods for their calibration are disclosed. Each device includes one or more transducers (210, 220, 230), an interface (284) configured to facilitate communications with an external calibration controller (310), a memory (282), and a processing component (280). The external calibration controller (310) sends (810, 912) calibration commands to the transducer-including devices through a communication structure (330). The processing component of each device executes (812, 914) code in response to receiving the calibration commands. Execution of the code includes generating (812, 914, 1004, 1006, 1104, 1106, 1112, 1116, 1201, 1204) transducer data from the one or more transducers, calculating (818) calibration coefficients using the transducer data, and storing (818) the calibration coefficients within the memory of the device.
