Rolling bearing assembly comprising an inner ring (2), an outer ring (3), at least one row of rolling elements (4) disposed between raceways (14a, 14b) provided on the inner and outer rings (2, 3), and an annular housing (6) inside which at least one of the rings (3) is arranged, said one ring (3) comprising two half ring parts (3a, 3b), each half ring part (3a, 3b) having a radial portion (11a, 11b) and two axial cylindrical portions (9a, 9b, 13a, 13b) extending from the radial portion (11a, 11b) towards the outside respectively by a rounded edge portion (10a, 10b) and by a toroidal portion (12a, 12b) defining the raceway (14a, 14b). The rolling bearing assembly (1) comprises at least one elastically deformable element (30, 31, 32, 33) located between the two half ring parts (3a, 3b) of said one ring (3) so as to adjust an axial clearance between said half ring parts (3a, 3b). |
