Plastic heald and method for producing same from a sheet of film

The heald (10) has a strip-shaped heald body extending along longitudinal direction (L) and provided with a thread eye (12) for holding a warp thread. The body has longitudinal sections (14-16) directly attached with each other in the direction. The body is formed as a separation part i.e. stamped part, separated from a film web. The longitudinal sections are made of different plastic or composite material and/or exhibit different thicknesses (d1, d2, d3). A plastic matrix of the composite material is connected to auxiliary elements made of metal and/or glass and/or ceramic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heald.
