400,782. Fastenings. WINTERHALTER, M., 19, Davidstrasse, St. Gallen, Switzerland. Nov. 14, 1932, Nos. 32141 and 32142. Convention dates, Nov. 13, 1931, and Jan. 25, 1932. [Class 44.] A runner 1 for a slider-operated fastener is provided with the usual tab 2 which is pivoted in a part 7 provided with means at one end for engaging between the fastener elements when the tab is released. A stop 4 restricts the movement of the part 7. The latter may be pressed upon by a spring or, as in Fig. 8b, a magnet 4 may attract a bar 1 so that the end 3 engages the fastener elements to lock the fastening. A chain may be attached to the tab which, in this case, is enclosed. As open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, the Specification described a cam turned to press against the locking elements when the tab was released. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
