PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of suppressing increase in the circuit scale of a computing unit that separates a plurality of transmission signals based on a plurality of reception signals received via a plurality of antennas. SOLUTION: Communication apparatuses (3 and 13) include operating units (40-1 to 40-4, 60) for separating each transmission signal contained in sets of transmission signal from sets of reception signals corresponding to the sets of transmission signals received respectively via a plurality of antennas (31-1, 31-2). The operating unit includes a transmission signal estimation unit (41) which estimates a transmission signal set from a reception signal set, an output unit (43) which outputs a predetermined signal used for decoding the transmission signal set, and a control unit (44) which allows the output unit to output a predetermined signal when a calculation amount by the transmission signal estimation unit reaches a predetermined threshold value before the transmission signal estimation unit completes estimation of the transmission signal set, and allows the transmission signal estimation unit to output an estimated transmission signal set when the transmission signal estimation unit completes estimation of the transmission signal set before a calculation amount by the transmission signal estimation unit reaches a predetermined threshold value.
