PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph images having various properties at the same time. SOLUTION: A photographing device comprises: an image forming lens; a light receiving unit having a plurality of light receiving elements; a plurality of optical elements which is provided respectively corresponding to the plurality of the light receiving elements, and causes the corresponding light receiving elements to receive subject light having passed through a predetermined pupil region in an exit pupil of the image forming lens; and an image generation unit which generates an image of a subject from a photographing signal of the plurality of light receiving elements. A plurality of first optical elements of the plurality of optical elements causes the subject light passing through a first region having a circular or an annular shape centering an optical axis of the image forming lens and a first pupil region in the exit pupil to enter the corresponding light receiving elements. A plurality of second optical elements of the plurality of optical elements causes the subject light passing through a second region which is an annular region centering the optical axis of the image forming lens and located on an outer periphery of the first region and a second pupil region in the exit pupil to enter the corresponding light receiving elements.
