Disclosed are a method and a device for determining a correlation between personal information. The method for calculating a correlation between individuals comprises the steps of: receiving health-related information of a user; receiving relationship information of the user; determining information of a neighbor whose correlation with the user is to be calculated based on the health-related information and the relationship information of the user; and calculating a correlation between the information of the user and the information of the neighbor based on the information of the neighbor, thereby calculating a correlation between gene-related information, personal health-related information, and daily living information of individuals and providing a new user convenience service based on the correlation.
