PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiecy of vehicle travel including a cooling system for cooling a heat generation part such as a resistor mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: The cooling system for cooling a heat generation part mounted on a vehicle includes: a cooling tank for storing cooling water; a pump for sucking cooling water in the cooling tank by rotation thereof and feeding it to the heat generation part; an inertia device having a roller having a predetermined inertia moment; a pump side rotary shaft making the rotation of the pump link with the rotation of the roller; a drive side rotary shaft linking with a drive unit of the vehicle; a clutch disposed between the pump side rotary shaft and the drive side rotary shaft; and a control unit controlling the operation of the clutch. The control unit connects the clutch at the braking time of the vehicle, rotates the roller and pump using the inertia force of the vehicle, releases the clutch when the roller rotates, and rotates the pump using the rotation energy of the roller. |
