<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device reducing power consumption while providing a screen which is easy to see for a user according to a change of environment. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes a display part having a first pixel circuit for emitting light of a first color and a second pixel circuit for emitting light of a second color. The image display device includes a detection part for detecting the illuminance around the display part. The image display device includes a control unit for lowering, when the illuminance around the display part detected by the detection part is equal to or lower than first reference illuminance, the luminance of the first pixel circuit for emitting the light of the first color at a ratio different from that of the luminance of the second pixel circuit for emitting the light of the second color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
