PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld wireless microphone device in which a battery housed therein does not move to generate noise when the microphone device is swung, and replacement of battery is facilitated. SOLUTION: At the abutting position of batteries 5a, 5b which are housed in series and are easy to come off due to vibration in a battery housing section 4, a hard wall 6 is arranged on one side and a flexible battery press member 7 is arranged at the opposite position thereto, thus holding both batteries 5a, 5b simultaneously. The battery press member 7 is attached while inclining to the wall 6 side, and when the batteries 5a, 5b are housed, it is deformed by the batteries 5a, 5b to bend outward and to press the batteries 5a, 5b so as not to move.
