<p>The LV switchgear has a cabinet provided with at least 2 horizontal rows of compartments for reception of plug-in modules (13-16; 17-19), each having a main collector rail arrangement (11,12) coupled to cables for distribution of the current to the plug-in modules, with control cables (21a) for controlling switching or control devices within the plug-in modules.
