<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an image forming speed by eliminating the time difference of the reaching time to the ready temperature of a belt member and a nip forming member, thereby shortening the time, until fixing is started when an image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The pre-run speeds of a heat belt 42 and a pressure roller 43 are variably controlled, according to the temperature difference of the heat belt 42 and the pressure roller 43, during the recovery mode of a fixing unit 37, so that the speeds reaching the ready temperature of the heat belt 42 and the pressure roller 43 reach close to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
