<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a high quality output image, of which a nonlinear component as well as a linear component of a color mis-registration is accurately corrected. <P>SOLUTION: Input image data and test pattern data are corrected by a correcting section 3 based on linear component data and nonlinear component data of an amount of color mis-registration separately held by a holding section 4. A plurality of images is formed based on the input image data corrected by the correcting section 3, and an output image is formed by superimposing the plurality of images on an intermediate transfer belt 8. In addition, a test pattern is formed on the intermediate transfer belt 8 based on the test pattern data corrected by the correcting section 3 and is detected by a detecting section 11. At least one of the linear component data and the nonlinear component data of the amount of color mis-registration held by the holding section 4 is updated based on the aforesaid detecting result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
