PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control method which improves comfort and energy consumption by preventing unnecessary acceleration and deceleration by preventing excessive approach to a preceding train, using an existing signal facility. SOLUTION: The system has a database, in which a time interval value between a preceding train and a train, which uniquely corresponds to each other, is set by using transition information of the signal of the train. An ideal time interval value (T0) between the preceding train and the train is calculated based on the estimated velocity of the preceding train and the velocity of the train. A time (T1) until the train reaches the preceding train is compared with the time interval value (T0) to determine the control timing of the train, thereby preventing the excessive approach to the preceding train.
