PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method of earth retaining member, by which a place with an earth retaining member removed can rapidly become to be in a stable state in order to prevent ground subsidence during removal of the earth retaining member or just after the removal. SOLUTION: In a removal method of earth retaining member according to the invention, an injection pipe is installed along an earth retaining member, and the earth retaining member is pulled up while injection material is injected through the injection pipe, a cavity formed by pulling off the earth retaining member being filled with the injection material. The injection pipes are installed at the rate of one injection pipe to three earth retaining members. An earth retaining member adjacent to the earth retaining member at the place, where an injection pipe is installed, is pulled up while injecting the injection material from the injection pipe, and then the same work is successively carried out.
