PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly keep the total current of a whole showcase within a regulation value, and to achieve smooth cooling control and promotion of drain water evaporation on an evaporation pan while suppressing a current value in equipment. SOLUTION: An evaporation pan heater 21 is energized at a predetermined timing to evaporate drain water from the evaporation pan 210. When the evaporation pan heater 21 is energized, the total current is determined using a current value detected by a current sensor 30. When the total current is determined to exceed a predetermined control value due to energization of the evaporation pan heater 21, rotating speed control is so performed as to lower the rotating speed of a compressor 16 below the rotating speed at the time of determination.
