PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the number of update histories managed in a server to a predetermined number when synchronizing data between a client and the server. SOLUTION: A client 10 transmits a synchronization request including range specification information and client range information to the server 20. The server 20 transmits to the client 10 synchronization information including server range information on server record included in an interest range specified by the range specification information, and range download information including updated or erased one among data corresponding to the client range information. The client 10 transmits a download request to the server 20 based on the synchronization information, and the server 20 transmits download information in response to the download request to the client 10.
