PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently specify appropriate browsing information desired by a user from a plurality of browsing information which is prepared in advance on the basis of intuitive key words having few character number. SOLUTION: An information browsing method extracts one or a plurality of object candidate words from a character string which is input by a user 112, adds postpositional particles to the selected object candidate words, extracts predicate candidate words from the selected postpositional particles and the object candidate words by using a matrix table 228 set for each postpositional particle, and specifies browsing information from a selected candidates combination.
