361,790. Films. WOLFF & CO. KOMMANDIT-GES. AUF AKTIEN, 35, Langestrasse, Walsrode, and WEINGAND, R., 80, Hauptstrasse, Bomlitz, both in Germany. March 30, 1931, No. 9585. Convention date, May 13, 1930. [Class 2 (ii).] In order that films of regenerated cellulose, cellulose derivatives, or gelatine may be stacked and cut without cracking at the edges, such films are coated prior to stacking and cutting with a thin layer of waxes, wax-like substances, greases, or mixtures of the same. The coating is preferably evenly distributed by rubbing. The warmed or melted wax or grease may be applied in a very thin coating by means of a spreading or spraying device, the surplus removed by means of a rotary brush, and the coating rubbed by means of a polishing roller. Beeswax, paraffin wax, ceresine, vaseline, or similar waxes or greases may be used. The film may be warmed during application of the wax. |
