<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide weather information in an area around a descending path, and improve safety in landing guidance. <P>SOLUTION: A precision approach radar includes: a radar transceiver 2 for transmitting a radar wave from an electronic scanning type antenna 1 and receiving a reflected wave of the radar wave; a target detection section 33 for detecting an aircraft target based on a received signal of the reflected wave and outputting target data; a weather detection processing section 7 for detecting a weather target based on the received signal and outputting weather data; a video creation section 32 for creating radar video data from the received signal; and a radar display section 5 for displaying a radar video based on the radar video data and overlappingly displaying a symbol based on the target data and weather information based on the weather data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
