An image display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a liquid crystal display panel; a backlight unit which irradiates the liquid crystal display panel by a light; a switching panel which selectively penetrates the light which penetrates the liquid crystal display panel; and a phase difference film which is formed on the switching panel. The present invention is able to protect the privacy of a user by generating brightness within a main viewing range and implementing a narrow viewing angle.
