A protective suit or bag 1 made from a plastic material, which may be transparent or produced in a range of colours, and is worn over the head and torso to cover the body of a person. The patient isolation suit helps to contain any body fluids or infectious agents/pathogens and is shaped to restrict movement of the patient while they wait for treatment. The bag is open at the feet 3 to direct any fluids towards the ground. The bag comprises ventilation slots 4 in the chest or head area to prevent suffocation. These ventilation slots can be open apertures or alternatively covered with plastic sheets or flaps. These flaps are designed to help restrict airflow leaving the bag through these openings. |
