<p>A filling device for filling compressed carbon dioxide gas (C) into a container (1) is provided with a filling relay mechanism (32) disposed between the container into which the compressed carbon dioxide gas is filled and a gas cylinder (31) for supplying the compressed carbon dioxide gas. The filling relay mechanism is connected to the gas cylinder and provided with a housing (35) which comprises a valve mechanism housing section (44) serving as a gas input section to which the compressed carbon dioxide gas supplied from the gas cylinder is inputted and a movement operation member housing section (61) serving as a gas output section, a valve element (51) for opening and closing a gas outflow hole (49) provided between the valve mechanism housing section and the movement operation member housing section, a coil spring (57) for biasing the valve element, and a movement operation member (62) for moving the valve element against the biasing force of the coil spring to open the gas outflow hole by being subjected to a pressing operation by part of the container side when the container is connected to the gas output section. By connecting the container to the filling relay mechanism, the movement operation member is operated, the gas outflow hole is opened, and the carbon dioxide gas is filled into the container.</p> |
