The device (18) has support arms held by a rivet device in a position. The device is adjustable from a closing position to an opening position and vice-versa, where the closing position overstretches a passenger compartment (6) and the opening position is kept down in a rear area. A bearing sleeve extends between a rivet shaft of a rivet e.g. blind rivet, and bearing boreholes of support arms. The sleeve lies with a collar-like stop at one of the support arms, and supports with another stop at a rivet head of the rivet. Another rivet head is introduced at a shaft stop of the sleeve.
