The present invention relates to a multipolar field emission device having single driving power and a method for driving the same with single power. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the multipolar field emission device having single driving power comprises: a cathode electrode having one or more field emitters; one or more gate electrodes which are formed between an anode electrode and the cathode electrode and include an opening to penetrate electrons emitted from the field emitters; a voltage dividing unit which includes one or more distribution resistance and divides a voltage supplied from a power unit by the distribution resistance to be supplied to one or more gate electrodes; and the power unit which is formed to have single power and supplies the voltage to the voltage dividing unit.
