[Class 104 (iii).] The fore and aft pans 14 of a pantograph collector are pressed against the conductor by a spring 16 arranged between the arms 15 of levers 9 supporting the pans. The frame 8 to which the levers are pivoted is pivoted about a transverse axis 7 to the apex of the pantograph, and has an extension 13 kept vertical by sliding engagement with a member 12 connected by equal links 11 to the pantograph arms 6. |
