PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a conventional spotting apparatus, a water column was detected from a reception signal of a beam with respect to a tracking target and observed as the position of impact but under the situation where the detection of the water column was difficult such as in the case of impact of a projectile near a target, in the case of rough seas or in the case where the water column is hidden behind the target, the position of impact could not be observed and an error between the tracking target and the position of impact might not be outputted occasionally. SOLUTION: The path of a projectile is calculated on the basis of an observed value of the projectile detected from a reception signal irradiating the projectile with beams and when the altitude becomes 0, it is calculated as the position of impact. The position of impact is calculated from a water column which is generated under the impact of the projectile on the surface of water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
