PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a glass bottle, properly and surely removing a glass bottle judged to be defective. SOLUTION: The inspection device includes an inspection device body 1 that inspects the state of a glass bottle; a downstream conveyor 3 that conveys a glass bottle B inspected by the inspection device body 1 in a specific direction; and a discharging device 5 that removes a glass bottle B judged to be defective by the inspection device body 1 from the downstream conveyor 3. The discharging device 5 includes a linear servo type actuator 50 carrying out feedback control according to a sensor value, and a pusher 56 that is driven forward/backward by the actuator 50.
