PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color changing apparatus which changes the position of a resin joining part by rotating a sleeve piece arranged in a valve pin to remove residual resin and replace it with new resin. SOLUTION: The color changing apparatus using valve sleeve rotation includes a lateral passage 3 of a melt resin arranged in a manifold 2, a longitudinal passage 4 communicating with the passage, and a valve pin 5 which passes through the lateral passage 3 and longitudinally runs in the longitudinal passage 4. The melt resin is extruded from the lateral passage 3 of the manifold 2 via the longitudinal passage 4 to a cavity through a gate 8. The flowing direction of the melt resin is changed by installing a sleeve piece 10 for changing a tubular resin flow in a position where the valve pin 5 passes through the passage of the manifold 2, and arranging an inclined surface 11 in a position where an end part of the sleeve piece 10 is faced according to the passage of the manifold 2, so as to rotate around the valve pin 5 in color changing of the melt resin.
