The liquid crystal aligning agent comprises at least one polymer selected from a group which is composed of one polyamic acid and the polymide formed through performing dewatering loop-closing treatment of the polymide, wherein the polyamic acid is obtained through a reaction between tetracarboxylic diamine and a diamine which comprises a first kind of diamine that comprises a compound represented by the general formula (A-1-1) and has an optical reactive structure.
