A tool head 20 is provided with an angled bracket 10 with a hole 12 so that it can be bolted to spirit level 22 instead of having a traditional handle. The bracket may be L shaped or U shaped to fit to the generally rectilinear cross section of a spirit level. The tool could have the form of a trowel, spade, rake, hook, hoe, scraper, poker, or hammer. The angle bracket could attach to a brace 11 to encircle the spirit level. There could be a rubber block, sleeve, or boot 38 provided to clamp between the bracket and the spirit level to pack out any gap and make the connection more secure. This resilient packer could adhere to the bracket or level; and retain or encapsulate a separate tool attachment. Metals and/or plastics could be used to make the tools components.
|
