<p>The present invention relates to a display device. Especially, a technical objective is to provide a display device and a driving method thereof. The display device equalizes a reference voltage applied to a reception electrode to the effective value of the driving voltage by controlling the pulse widths of pulses which form a driving voltage supplied to a driving electrode. For this, a display device according to the present invention includes a panel which includes driving electrodes and reception electrodes; a common voltage supply part which generates a common voltage; a driving voltage supply part which generates a driving voltage; a touch detection part which supplies the common voltage to the driving electrodes and the reception electrodes during an image output period and sequentially supplies the driving voltage to the driving electrodes during a touch detection period; and a reference voltage supply part which is formed in the touch detection part and supplies a reference voltage of a different level from the middle level of the driving voltage to a reception part connected to the reception electrodes during the touch detection period. Each width of pulses composed of the driving voltage is one of at least two pulse widths.</p> |
