The present invention relates to a melody braille block using a piezoelectric device. The melody braille block can detect a pedestrian, convert the mechanical energy applied as the pedestrian walks to electric energy, and uses the electricity as the driving power supply for a speaker device outputting a melody once a pedestrian is detected. The melody braille block according to the present invention, which uses a piezoelectric device, includes: a block body including an internal space; a braille plate which is coupled to the upper end of the space in the block body and has protrusion units protruding to the upper part of the block body; the piezoelectric device which is arranged on the lower part of the braille plate and converts the mechanical energy applied as the pedestrian walks to the electric energy; a support plate installed on the lower part of the piezoelectric device; a sound providing device which is installed on a side of the block body to output the predetermined sound once the pedestrian is detected through the piezoelectric device; and a charging device storing electricity converted by the piezoelectric device and providing driving power for the sound providing device. |
