The present invention relates to an indoor unit and an air conditioning system using the same which comprises: a first communication module to communication with a wired remote control; a power switch connected to power supplies on one side or the other side of a first communication module; a ground switch connected to a ground end on one side or the other side of the first communication module and formed as paired with the power switch; and an indoor unit control part which turns the power switch and the ground switch on when power is supplied to the wired remote control, and turns the power switch and the ground switch off when the power is applied to the wired remote control by the other indoor unit.
